Well i took a week long blacksmith class
That was cool i guess
Also i learned there that its really easy to make your own portable forge
I donno if id do it, maybe
I made a few nails, a few hooks, curled a rod by flattening it and rolling it (thats super fun)
And then i STARTED a knife blade but its not finished
Ill probly get around to it eventually
I uhhhh tanned my first sheepskin and its huge and actually came out super good
I think imma make a like poncho typa thing out of it
Like without cutting it up tho i want to keep its shape as much as possible, so what id be doing (ideally) is taking the LEFT leg and arm
And making a brooch or clasp to connect those, so i could wear it ALMOST like a cape but sideways-
If tested the fitting of it and the neck of the sheep comes and drapes down my right arm, so i think id get another clasp to attach the neck around my forearm to make a "sleeve" of sorts
And then the SIDE of the sheep behind my head (because the arms over my right shoulder and the leg is over my left)
Makes a perfect little collar
You also have the armpit of the sheep and the

So i can make buttons there to pull the collar down a little and closer to my face

I took an aikido class taught by none other than kenny boi himself
It was cool
It was sorta scary coz like kenneth is onna those like
Beings of power yknow?

Hes the coolest dude for way too many miles around right now
As if i needed to be reminded that he kicks ass, hes just over here tossing us around with motion redirection magic
But yea the pronciples of aikido are like balance and off balance and redirecrion

Its like a whoooooole buncha center-of-mass stuff
Kenneth has basicaly adopted it into his life philosophy i guess
Hell talk about how like carving wood is an action that is done in your center, like you hold you knife and wood piece in like this center space in front of like your velly button
Its a cool principle coz it makes it really obvious the kind of people that are inneficiemt movers, who FORCE their limbs and the GOAL of any action is like

I got a pair of cross country skis, nice poles, and boots

Like actual linen and cotton sailcloth
Me n ingrid are makn ski bags to carry our skis coz ill need one to get mine back to the US, and she needs a knew one
But yea sail sewing is cool coz you have this big glove thingy with like a thimble piece on the meat of your thumb
The needle is huge too its got like a triangular point with sides that come like all the way down to the middle of the needle
And you hafta handsew the WHOLE THING coz you needs like these really strong machines for it coz like
It takes like 10000000000000000000000 pounds or sommn to punch through the fabric
So yea thats why you hafta sew with your whole arm
Coz your thumbe doesnt work

So i got a nice multitool from him
And an umbrella
And a thingy that he CLAIMS to be a rope for saving people from ice, and it MAY be, coz its got this big weight on one side
I donno he gave it to me i donno what it is exactly, but itll be fun to throw it around coz its designed to go super far so yea
O gard DID leave all his dnd stuff for us tho, melias gonna give it back to him at the end of the year coz she also lives in oslo and i guess they were way closer that we all realized
